Our ultimate goal is to re-home the rehabilitated horses with responsible and loving owners. Prospective owners are interviewed, and the new home is evaluated by our staff with the needs of each animal at the forefront.
We rescue horses from abuse and neglect. Horses come to us from various sources - overwhelmed owners, surrenders, and law enforcement seizures.
A rescued horse goes through a series of assessments and wellness checks, starting with quarantine, a vet visit, and a series of vaccinations. Through this process, we evaluate the horse’s physical, mental, and dietary needs and begin a regimen customized for each horse to set them on the road to recovery.
Volunteer Donate Save a Horse!
We need your help.
Time | Money | Stuff
In order for us to continue on our mission, we need donations. Time—come out and volunteer, meet the animals and get dirty. Money—press the donate button at the top of the page and give as much as you can. Stuff—we need supplies, equipment, tools, and materials; things such as muck rakes, tractors, trucks, building materials, fencing, buckets, etc. No donation is too small, and all are greatly appreciated.
Our mission is to educate the community, rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome horses. We seek to provide support to other rescues through direct funding, providing equipment and supplies, and by building a partnership with rescues throughout the local area and across the nation.
